Stray thoughts

Life is a synergy of two things. Intentions and approach. If the intentions are pious and only the approach is faulty, it can be corrected in due course. But if the intentions itself are evil, then there is no other way other than to disassociate with it and battle it. In India, the intentions as well as approach of governance is a conspiracy against us citizens. Some 'intellectuals' state that good people can influence the system positively. Are they implying that in the last 62 years since freedom, good people have never tried this?

The answer is that the system is so faulty and conspiratorial in its character that even good people have had to dilute their character to survive in the system. It is like the Las Vegas casino rule. Casinos never lose, only punters are supposed to.

We are kneading dough for our cow, unfortunately the dog bites our cow and is eating all our hard worked dough. Unless we get rid of the dog in the equation, all our well intentioned doughing will be a big waste not to mention the fattening of the dog and the simultaneous weakening of our cow.

The reason for bad individuals ganging up quickly is obvious. Their agenda is tangible, measurable and bereft of morals. As for goodness, it is an abstract entity, one cannot quantify goodness. That’s the reason why bad gangs form quickly. It takes intellectual profundity and a readiness to supreme sacrifice to form a good team. Jesus and his apostles is the most vibrant example.
